Costs and Ways of Delivery (Courier)
The cost of delivery is free of charge anywhere in Greece for orders of 50 euros or above. For orders below 50 euros in Greece, the cost of delivery is 4.50 euros and an added 1.00 euro if you choose to pay at the point of delivery. For cities where there is no express delivery service and the delivery exceeds a distance of 20 kilometers, as well as certain remote islands, there might be an extra charge. If you collect your order from the courier’s shop, which is not considered inaccessible, then there is no extra cost.
The shipping cost for Cyprus and abroad is 20 € with Post office (ELTA).
If delivery is made to countries outside of the European Union, you may incur with additional costs, such as duties, taxes or money transfer fees (transfer or foreign exchange fees charged by the banks), which you must bear.
The time of arrival of products in most areas in Greece is be from 1 to 2 days apart from the case of public holidays and extreme weather conditions. mr.optic.gr bears no responsibility for any delay in delivery.
mr.optic.gr bears no responsibility for any delay or damage caused during postal delivery of the order. After receiving the delivery you are obliged to report any damage to the product within 24 hours so that we are able to request compensation from the postal service. Once we have checked the damage we will send you a new product.
In the event you wish to cancel your order, the cancelation may occur through communication by telephone with mr.optic.gr or via e-mail.
Availability
In the event that the products you have ordered are unavailable you will be informed via email or telephone regarding the exact time of delivery. If you agree with the new time of delivery you must respond via email should you wish your order to remain active.
Change of product
In the event of a change in product, the client bears the responsibility regarding the expense of the return delivery as well as the cost of the new delivery.
Return Policy
- Legal withdrawal rights.
Withdrawal rights by remote contracts based on the law 2251/1994 (as modified by K.Y.A.Z-891/2013 and later by K.Y.A.Z.277 64ork/2014).
If you trade as a consumer you may withdraw from the contract( with the exception of cases regarding one of the products of term C seen below where there is no valid right to withdraw) within fourteen (14) diary days without a reason. The deadline to withdraw expires after the passing of these fourteen (14) days from the day that you or some third party have indicated, and not the transporter, and acquired natural possession of the product or in the event of many ordered products by you in one order and delivered separately, after the passing of fourteen (14) days from the day that you or some third party have indicated (separate from the transporter) natural acquisition of the last product. In order to apply your withdrawal right, you can inform the company by letter or phone either by completing our communication form, or by sending an email to our address with your decision to withdraw from the contract with an explicit statement. You can also use the withdrawal form that appears in the appendix without this being obligatory.
In any case, you are obliged to return the product within fourteen days(14) from the day you have announced to us your decision to withdraw from the contract.
Withdrawal results
If you withdraw from the contract, we will return to you, without delay and in any circumstances fourteen days from the day that we have been informed with evidence regards to the withdrawal, the payments that we have received from you. The return will occur with the same payment method you used for the original transaction. In the event of a charge being incurred by the credit, card during the transaction, provided we have received receipt of the price and expense incurred by the bank, we will be obliged to inform the bank of the cancelation of the transaction and the bank will proceed in any anticipated action. After informing the bank, we bear no responsibility regarding the time and the method of execution of the reversal which is regulated by the contract that has been established between issuing bank and your part.
With regards to the reservation of the above, we can withhold the return of either until we receive all the products or until we have received clear evidence that you have returned the products, depending on what happens first.
After we have examined the returned products in detail, we will inform you whether or not you are entitled to a refund.
You can return or deliver the products by hand at the shop without culpable delay and in any event within fourteen days(14) at the latest from the day you have informed us about your withdrawal from the contract. It is deemed necessary that you have acted within the deadline and that you have sent the product before the expiration of the deadline. You will be charged with the direct expenses of delivery, except in cases where they are delivered by hand to the shop.
In the event of a product’s return, the client carries the liability to the expenses of the return delivery,( except in cases when the client has returned the product at his own expense) plus the expenses of the initial delivery. In the case of a financial refund, the client is liable to cover the initial costs of delivery incurred by the company during the delivery of the product.
In the event that the client does not respond to calls or emails from the company or the transport firm, our company reserves the right to withdraw from the sale.
You are responsible for any further reduction in the product’s value, as a result of use that distances their nature, features and function apart from that which is necessary for ascertaining of the nature, feature or function of the product.
B.EXCHANGES
In the event that one of the products we have sent is unsuitable for you, we can change it within fifteen days from its delivery.
The product must not have been used and it must be in its original packaging as it was delivered.
There is the possibility of changing it at the shop.
In the event of a change, the client is charged with the expense of the return delivery as well as with the expense of the new delivery (the new order must be of equal or greater value to the initial order). Returns are impossible for products which have been specially ordered by you and there is no refund.
In the event of consecutive returns the fifteen day time period is valid from the date of the initial product.
For a return to occur you will have to send the product as it was received at our address and inform us (by phone or email) which other product you would like to be sent and you will be charged the expenses.
- Common Provisions (for cases A and B).
Withdrawal from the contract, cash refunds and product exchanges are not possible for the following products:
1) Contact lenses, specially ordered such as astigmatic, multifocal and color lenses with dioptries.
2) The lenses of vision glasses that have been put according to your order on your chosen frame. For the return of vision glasses that have been fitted with free lenses, there will be a charge of 10 euros for the cost of the lenses.
3) The products that have been specially ordered by the manufacturing company after your request.
4) sealed products (eg contact lenses ,liquids) which aren’t appropriate for returns due to health reasons.
Your right to withdraw from the contract or ask for a return of the product is valid only for products that can be returned in the exact same condition as when they were delivered. In the event of withdrawal , no sum of money will be returned to you if the products is used or is not in the same condition or it has been damaged. In short, due care and attention must be given while they are in your possession. The products must be returned using or including their initial packaging and whatever it contains (eg glasses case, certification of authenticity, cloth etc) as well as the instructions and any other documents that may come with the products and the receipt you received during the delivery.
After the returned product is examined in detail, we will inform you as to whether you are entitled to a cash refund, in the event of a withdrawal, or whether we will proceed with its exchange.
Our products which fall into the category of ‘after order’ or that will be specially ordered for the client (lenses, contact lenses, contact lens liquids, vision frames, sunglasses etc) may require prepayment of the cost or a total payment depending on the item. Naturally, there will be written communication with the client in such cases. You are responsible for the expenses and the risk of returning the products to us as is written above.
D.Return of Faulty Products.
In the event that you consider that the product you have ordered does not comply, during delivery, with the terms of the contract, you will have to communicate immediately with us through our Internet communication form, describing in detail the product and its faults or by calling us on the number 00302321111700 or by sending us an email at the address info@mr-optic.gr and we will give you instructions for further action.
You can return the product to the shop or deliver it to the transport firm (courier) that we sent to your home. You must return the product with the receipt which you have received when the product was delivered. We will carefully examine the returned product and reserve the right to disagree with any claim that it is faulty. We will inform you within a reasonable time space if you are entitled to a cash refund or a replacement of the product (in such cases where it is possible). The cash refund or replacement of the product will take place as soon as it is possible and in any case within 14 days from the day that we have confirmed via email that you are entitled to a cash refund or replacement of the faulty product. In the event of a product being deemed faulty, the whole sum which is owed including postal costs and any other justifiable expenses incurred during the return of the product. Your legal rights, according to existing legislation, are not threatened.
The difference in color or size between the product and the photograph is not considered as a fault and may be due to such things as lighting when being photographed, the brightness of your screen or the functions of your device.

The products arrive via courier and you pay the price at the moment of delivery. You will be informed about the exact sum of the cost of delivery when you have completed your order.
